How many sensors can I have?
As many as you wish. Normal configurations include up to 30 sensors per iTemp controller, but larger configurations are possible. Please call for information.
How far apart can sensors be installed?
The maximum length of sensor wires is determined by a variety of factors. Normal configurations operate reliably up to 600 feet. Please call if you are interested in longer distances.
How am I notified of a temperature alarm?
Alarms can be sent via text message, email, or a voice message to the phone number of your choice. You can configure temperature alarms on our secure website.
What information does the alarm contain?
An alarm contains the name of the unit being monitored, the current temperature, and the length of time the unit has been out of the acceptable range. In the case of a voice call, this information will be read to you by a computerized voice.
When am I notified of an alarm?
You can choose to have the alarm sent immediately, or wait until the remains out of range for a period of time. You can also choose not to receive alarms overnight or on holidays. All alarm options can be configured on our website.
How often are temperatures read?
You can configure how many minutes to wait between temperature readings.
Can alarms be cancelled?
You can disable an alarm at anytime from our website.
How fast must my internet connection be?
The Guardian iTemp is designed to work with broadband connections but also works fine with low speed connections.
How much historical data is available?
You will always have access to at least one month of historical data, but more is often available. Additional garaunteed history can also be configured.
Can I monitor dry contacts on my existing equipment?

When will I be billed? Are any refunds available?
Your credit card will be billed on the 28th day of each month of service. After the first 30 days of service, partial months will be billed at a full month rate.
If you wish to pay by check, please contact us for terms. After the first 30 days of monitoring, service charges are generally non-refundable except in cases of service outage.
How can I cancel my monitoring service?
Please contact us via phone or email. Your cancellation will be processed immediately, and you will receive one final bill for the partial month's service.
